So beautiful. I loved the audiobook and think I’ll have to read it as a physical copy or ebook myself someday. I have a feeling there will be more to discover and enjoy with each re-read.

I liked her other books, but the Novellas feel rushed and formulaic. The “betrayal” reveal was no surprise after the other books and I’m really tired of the itty-bitty girl-woman and the huge hulking manly man.

Cute, but I didn’t understand why the resolution took so long. Way too  much miscommunication or zero actual communication, to the point it felt like I was reading about a house flip with a romance on the side. Rita was a great main character, except for her over dependence on dating apps and inability to start important conversations. No man in this book deserved her. Neil definitely is sexist for not helping in the kitchen.

Milan absolutely  did not show enough maturity or growth to win her back, despite taking so long to even try. Stop blaming yourself for the mistakes of your boyfriends, Rita!
