Very fun nostalgic read. I read it as a teen, and was happy that it mostly held up to my fond memories!

This book made my heart swell. Some minor things annoyed me, I couldn’t picture Olives face and still had no clue what she looked like until
the steamy scene in which I hated how often her skinniness was brought up? And while I loved the ace/demi rep, why did Olive have to explain it by saying her “brain is broken” to be that way. Disappointing. Finally, I wish there was more to the revelations after they got together. I wanted to hear Adam talk about what he overhears Olive say about how she was falling for him and I wanted a more in-depth conversation of how Olive used their first meeting to get her through to their relationship and when she realized it was Adam specifically.
But again, I still loved this

The tension was great, everything else was annoying. Definitely could have used 90% fewer mentions of the color of Aarons eyes. But the worst part for me
was how Aaron never properly apologized for badmouthing Lina to their boss. It was such an overly agonized point at the beginning, and honestly very upsetting, so I was expecting him to own his actions there. As annoying as Lina was, she deserved better than that.
Beyond other plot grievances, the writing wasn’t for me. Still curious how the same chest can be „warm and wide and snuggly“ and „a marble sculpture, unyielding and hardened.”

There were so many things I hated about this book. How the sisters treat Kristin, the „baby girl“ nickname, Trevor’s even worse nickname, how he constantly
talked about „owning“ Georgie and other misogynistic language, the ending!
but in the end it was a compelling romance and I’ll probably be reading the rest of the series in as a guilty pleasure.
