Wow what a beautiful book. There is no way to express how much I love this book without spoilers. If you want a book that will make you think & self reflect this is it. There will be times where you sob, have to close the book, and need to just sit there to think. I will be sitting with my thoughts on this for a while. Moral of the story just read it!

This book kept me engaged from start to finish. The short chapters made it incredibly easy to read! It was a story of grief, family, and self-reflection. On top of all of that thrilling enough to keep you on your toes! I cried multiple times because the way the author wrote grief was so heartbreaking. I’d highly recommend!

Such an incredible read! I had to keep sticky notes handy because there were so many powerful passages. The fact that it was written in verse added a flow that made it not only easy to read but easy to absorb. Xiomara was so relatable & I truly routed for her. Easily a 5 star read for me!
