JOELLE!! What a freakin book!!! And a debut!!

I was halfway through reading my library hold when I went out and bought myself my own copy because this book is SO GOOD.

A mix of Hunger Games, The Bachelor, and the tiniest dash of The Inheritance Games, I absolutely devoured it.

Another fun read from Jessica Goodman!

As someone who started & completed my Gossip Girl journey last year AND just started my PLL journey a couple days ago, this book slotted in so well!

The elite dark academia vibes and New York setting were fantastic and the mystery was a nice addition as well!

Like many of Christie’s standalone novels, this one took a bit for me to get into, but, once I did, it was an enjoyable ride! I did find the murderer to be a tad predictable, but it was intriguing regardless.

What a bonkers book!! Huge shoutout to Taylor Adams for the *spoiler* he posted on his insta way back when - you really saved me from further emotional turmoil 😅

This one features a badass woman and a cute and fluffy sidekick, some major page-turning moments, twists, and soooo many heartstring tugging scenes 🥲

Every year, friends Liz, Helena, Maggie, and Joni take an annual trip together and, this year, with her marriage on the rocks, Liz chooses a difficult 4-day mountain hike for their excursion. On their strenuous journey, the women must face nature, each other, and someone else keeping close tabs on them?!

Having recently read THE CASTAWAYS, I should have been more prepared for the emotional turmoil this book would put me through, but, alas, I was not.

THE HIKE by Lucy Clarke is told through several POVS (including all of the friends) and an alternate Search chapter that had me flipping pages and guessing all the guesses!

As an avid hiker myself, I LOVED the descriptors used throughout this book - could smell the characters, feel the blisters, and taste those delectable camp noodles 😋

I loved the emotion and tension that Clarke managed to create within this story and am only docking this book a star for the direction the plot ended up taking!

Another great read from Lucy Clarke that has me itching to read more from her!

Huge thanks to NetGalley, Penguin, and G.P. Putnam’s Sons for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Publication Date: August 29

This one was over the top and cringe at times, but still a fun and gorey theme park novella.

Another hit from Sager!

The setting in this one really put me in a chokehold and this is me demanding that more authors make their houses into characters, xx.

Already can't wait for the next twisty, turn-y thriller from Riley!

Simone St. James sure can create an atmosphere! This book sucked me in right away and the characters and setting seemed to come to life.

More spooky feelings than actual spooks in this one, but I enjoyed it regardless!

Thanks to Berkley Publishing for sending a copy of this one to me!
