A lovely coming of age story about being a girl in high school and what that all entails.
In my humble opinion, Autumn and Finny are soulmates, and it just took way too long to figure that out....
and now they'll never know what it's like to be together; at least Autumn has her baby to remind her of Finny.

Based off the Ted Bundy murders it was interesting to read something for an 'insider view' of the massacre.
Some of the characters were a bit insufferable, and I felt they could have been knocked a peg or two down; but the story was really interesting.

I don’t know what to say other than, this author did an amazing job at keeping me entertained the entire time.
First, Steph’s niece is take, and then she finds out the same thing happened to her when she was a child?
I don’t even know what I would do if that happened to me.

A group of friends find a box in the middle of the woods and decide to make a bond of friendship by making sacrifices vowing to always be friends, even if they grow apart.
Years later, the rules that they all agreed upon have been broken and now they are all in danger.
**Pet Cemetery vibes throughout the book**

"He'd kill me before letting me leave." So much foreshadowing in such a short sentence.
And there goes Riley Sager again with the twist you don't see coming; even though I knew it wasn't going to be the easy mark from the beginning.

**Kind of paranormal, if you're not into that kind of thing, I don't recommend**

I just can’t believe the ending of this one.
I can’t even leave a true review without giving out spoilers……….

the best friend being a psychopath? didn't see that one coming, though to be honest I'm not too surprised.

Wow that ending was not expected.
After thinking about it, they didn’t technically lie about who was on trial.
But it definitely wasn’t who I thought it was.

The twist….. Ruth’s DAD!!!
And how Cal and Pey are all wrapped into the story.
I honestly can’t believe I didn’t see any of that coming.

Seeing fairy tale stories in everyday life is one of the greatest things about being a child; however, as we grow up and we start seeing the differences in people in a more logical sense, rather than fantastical, we start to see that there is really a large vilification of those who are different in any way. Disfigured really helps to put into perspective how this can be harmful to children who have disabilities or aren't what is considered "normal" in these stories, and how it should be changed to be more diverse.

Ok, do I really need to say how deranged I am for reading this?
Let's just say, I will never look at a door knob the same ever again.
