This book is wild!! I really wanted something similar to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and this did NOT disappoint.

CW: sexual assault, death

HOW DO YOU END A BOOK LIKE THAT

CW: bullying, homophobia, body shaming, death

What a rollercoaster, WOW. Loved to end Pride month with this book. If you haven't read it, get on that.

CW: transphobia, outing

WOW. I'm not even sure there are words to describe this book. It is SO well-written and the story just kept pulling me in deeper and deeper. I found myself rooting for so many characters and even getting so upset with a handful of them. I loved the details from early in the book that resurfaced later on: the grandfather, the initials on the train. Reading this book felt like I was right back in NYC, visiting gay bars with my friends, truly having the time of our lives. Since COVID has cancelled much of the Pride festivities this year, it was nice to find a bit of that comfort amidst these pages. I do have unanswered questions after finishing this book, though, which I hope means we will get a sequel!

CW: suicide, murder

OH MY GOSH. What a wild ride. I read the whole book in a day because I could. not. put it DOWN! I kept thinking, "oh, I know who did it," but let me tell you - I DID NOT. This is not at all the typical book I choose to read but maybe that needs to change...

I had a pretty basic understanding of the enneagram prior to reading this book, but I liked how this book emphasized different relationships. Gina walks you through each type pairing and how they interact together at work and home, and also in romantic relationships. It did feel a little slow when I was reading about types other than my own, but overall, it was very informational and I would recommend checking it out, if you are looking to learn more about the enneagram.

Wow. This book was a rollercoaster of heartbreak and redemption and I didn't want it to end because it was SO GOOD.

CW: homophobia, racism

This book was FUN! If you're looking for books to add to your TBR for Pride month, this should definitely be on there. It was very engaging and made for a quick read. I was worried that it would be a confusing read since it is told from the perspective of four different people, but it was very easy to follow along. While some of the storyline was predictable at first, there were a few twists late in the book that I definitely didn't see coming.
