I have loved every single book that SL Prater has written, and this was no exception! I’ve waited what feels like ages to get my hands on The Crow Games. It was everything I expected it to be and more👏🏻

I absolutely loved that from the beginning of the book, it’s obvious that Maven is one badass bitch🔥 The vengeance plot was *𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘧’𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴*. The train to Hel full of other people sentenced to a version of prison that is constantly throwing them into death trials threw me for a loop at first until my brain finally caught up with my imagination lol.

I loved the found family, riddles the gods spoke in, and of course my baby, Asher💋 This was the slowest of slow burns, focusing on their relationship shift from enemies to allies. There were a few big shocks and reveals at the end that I did not see coming one bit! It’s a tragedy that I have to wait so long for book 2, but I know S.L. will make it sooooo worth it🫶🏻🖤

Thank you so much to the author for the gifted copy!🖤

Serial killer cold case? Amazingly fleshed out. I was on the edge of my seat, loving every second of the case! The romance was a gentle, sweet, no-spice one but gave the perfect amount of added stress for our MCs.

Criminal Minds has always been a comfort show for me, so I had super high expectations hearing our MMC was Spencer Reid coded🤭 Ahearn didn’t disappoint one👏🏻 bit 👏🏻 Winston is 100/10. Give me more “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘩” 🥹

This was 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦! I was immediately sucked into the world that Nichole created. Neev is smart, resilient, and isn’t one to be in denial. I loved that when something crazy was thrown at her, she acknowledged, processed, then accepted it. Raiz was such a breath of fresh air as well! He makes sure to share any knowledge he has with Neev. If she asks, he answers. And the fact that he’s an alien?! Yes, please!🤭 Raiz is completely obsessed with her in the best way possible.

The world building and story kept me hooked the entire time. There’s a mystery around the Order on why Neev has these headaches, information about the galaxies, hierarchy on Raiz’s planet, their traditions, found family vibes, fated mates, soul ties to creatures, and so much more that I can’t say😩

That cliffhanger will be the absolute death of me. Throw me out to space now because I need to know what happens next😭

I made sure to take my time with this since I was super excited about the release. I loved how much world building and character development went into this! This was the definition of a slow-burn romance, and my heart needs the next book immediately😩

I realized at the wedding what that twist would be, so it was like having my own little secret with The Guardian🤭 Odessa grew out of her shell so much and I am so proud of her! She is definitely queen material.

So many secrets. So many QUESTIONS. Oh my goooosh. I feel like Odessa with the amount of questions I have thanks to the last chapter 😭

Thank you so, so much for the gifted physical copy Devney and Red Tower Pub!🖤

I ate this UP🔥 I’m a sucker (get it) for vampire x witch romances, and this ticked all of the boxes for me. We have a broody, hell bent on a generations in the making revenge vampire king, Alec, and a witch, Harlow, with special black magick blood, the last of her family line who has lost memories and some big time trauma surrounding it! I also 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 Freya’s (the First Witch) narration! It was so unique and something I haven’t read in a book since high school.

There isn’t much world building, but it isn’t needed. There are times where the vampire/witches worlds are explained in an organic way. I feel like we’ll get more about the world and different covens as the series progresses, which I cannot wait for!

I really cannot wait for the next book🥹 I loved Alec, Harlow and how their story was told. They’re both my kind of funny and their love is one that will transcend time. They’re both grow so much together and on their own. This became one of my “read it because I said so” books so quickly😩

Thank you so much to the author and Torch Lit Ink for the gifted copy!

Perfect for someone else. There was too many riddles. Everything is a riddle or some sleight of hand type shit. The MC immediately understands but the reader never does. I felt like Hester the entire time😭

There was way too much filler for me about their day to day lives. I didn’t relate to either character or really like them. The spice was spicy, so it’s a good read for that but not the rest.
