I'm an absolute 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓 for vampire books and this one checked all the boxes! Vampires, witches, werewolves, vampire hunter, and a murder mystery to solve? I was devouring this and when I wasn't, it was all I could think about😩

Talulla and Flynn were sooo great together. Flynn is obsessed from the beginning and Talulla isnt far behind. Their banter had me rolling😂

I guessed the ending about halfway, but still loved how everything was revealed and went down! I adorded Cassandra and Asmodeus! I want more of them. They're just as adorable as Talulla and Flynn🤭 They're also the best friends you could ever have🥺

I'm excited for the full length version of Red Ruby! I can't wait to see what happens in London.

From the beginning there was action and I easily connected with every single character. Evienne is just incredible. I love her🙂‍↕️ She grows so much with her internal battles and finds her worth and I loved that for her. Orion is the perfect book boyfriend. Caring, attentive, rational to your emotions. And the way he is obsessed?!😩🤌🏻

I was completely invested in the mystery of why Orion and Solon's people lost their magic. It's a slow build to all the revelations, but not in a boring way. Each new piece of information was researched or looked into. Love when there isn't a miscommunication that causes a character death😂

The ending was wiiiiiild! I was not prepared for all of the revelations and how things went down. It was full of gasping, jaw dropping, and wtf moments! Especially the epilogue. I cannot wait for April to get to see how things go in Beitar and meet more of the Contrapensae!

Way too slow and feels more like a middle grade read if you take out the cussing. Just not vibing

This picked up where Hallowed Games left off, but quickly picks up pace. So much was answered and it wrapped up super well! I already miss Sion🥹 He was my favorite character from page 1!

The pace moved pretty quickly this book, which wasn't a bad thing at all! I loved that we got all of the important bits and focused more on the MCs.

Elowen and Sion are just 🤌🏻 I already loved Sion by the end of Hallowed Games, and Vanquished Gods showed us who he is and his story. Now Maelor? I could of strangled him with all of that Rowena mess 😩 My heart was racing!

The ending wrapped everything up super well, even if we didn't get to read about life after the war🥺

A retired Demon Prince, a witch with no memories, and a curse? Sign me tf UP y'all!🤤❤️‍🔥 I expected a cinnamon roll MMC, sassy FMC and a super simple plot. I received an incredible, in depth plot with different things threading together the more you read, an absolute cinnamon roll MMC who will gut anyone for Calla, and a very head strong, independent FMC. 

The plot and romance were woven together in a way that didn't have me wishing for more of one or the other. I fell in love with the side characters as much as I did the MCs. Everyone had such personality and the way that Rylan treats others made it easy to love him. Even with Calla's memories gone for most of the book, she was reasonable and worked though most things using logic. I really admired that about her since I feel like it isn't common to read about someone in her situation actually listen and take in what she finds out. 

The ending wasn't a twist or shock, but was so tense😅 I was constantly stressing about what would happen next! Calla going total badass? Yes, more please😍 The epilogue was the perfect way to wrap everything up. My heart melted all over again and I ended up crying happy tears for Calla and Rylan🥹

Wow. Just.. where do I even start? This added so much more and answers so many questions, but the cliffhanger? The heartache?😭😭

Wraith and Zephyr are my #1 couple at this point. I love all of the relationships honestly. Everyone isn't just a side character in this series and it shows. There's more politics in this one than the first, but it makes sense after everything that happened. 

I can't wait for the next book. I needed it yesterday. The cliffhanger that this one left me on was gut wrenching 😭

I went into this one only knowing it had vampires in NOLA. I was already sold on that, but what I read was SO much more! I loved the politics, history and characters. I was in tears by the end. I'm running to read the next one
