The collection is a wonderful read and I regretted reading a story or two right before bed, which is how it works. I love feeling a story so much that it makes me afraid to sleep that night.
Absolutely loved the last story, one about Shadow. But they all have they're own wonders and quarks.
Recommended to anyone who's in need of short stories with a poem or two hidden within.

There's so much to be said about a book that forces you to stay up late to finish it.
This was a wonderful journey from start to finish. Growing up with the boy and knowing what he's doing is not right, knowing he'll regret it is just wonderful because when you start feeling for the characters you know you've fallen in love with them.
The writing is superb as are the characters and the plot. The dynamics between all of them are wonderful and I would read this again, gladly.
It was such a fun book to read, shocking at times, heartbreaking at others but to the end it was all worth it.
A highly recommended book.
