It was an interesting read but the way it's written was a bit much? "Percy" constantly would say "I think" or "this is how I think it went down" and then often would make the stories as if they happened in modern times with the scenarios. Interesting, fun at times, but not what I was really expecting. Loved the illustrations though.

Oh what an absolutely beautiful, heart-warming, hilarious, hug of a book. Within two pages I was so happy to be back with Dex and Mosscap. The world and characters they meet, their conversations and feelings, their wonder, it makes for a sweet and heart-warming read.

Paul Holes doesn't hold back in recalling his life, he shares both the good and the bad about his life. Even sharing how he wasn't a good husband because of his obsession with his cases. It's a very good true crime read, and if you are a fan of Paul Holes, also a very good look into how he became who he is today.
