It was interesting and ended up being very sweet. And I loved how the stories ended up intertwining. I knew the basic way it was going to work out before the end but the journey there was wonderful. 

I enjoyed this roam through history with salt as the focus, the only thing was that the end seemed pretty abrupt, but that's not terrible. It's very interesting to see how the world was kind of shaped by people's need for salt.

A wonderfully fun look into the microbes that makes us, us. I loved the way the author took us from first discovering that microbes exist to trying to renew our relationship with them.

The MC talked about two characters already as if she would like to have a relationship with them and I like my books with less.
