A short read but longer than any in the series so far. Warning if you don't like mpreg.
Joshua is perfect for Law. He helps his shifter heal by accepting Law just as he is. In turn Law does the same for Josh and helps him through dealing with the changes that happen to him in this story.
My favorite part it's Joshua telling Law's brother Tryck "Words. Hurt!" It's so true and I love that it's a mate defending his shifter. Mates are strong in their own way.

Short read. There was much more focus on the story in this book.
Poor Murphy being beat down physically and emotionally. Especially when some of the emotional pain is caused by his mate. Ludo is there for his Murphy in the end but he wasn't a very good mate to begin with.
Oliver! He has grown up since mating Micah. I love how he stands up for Murphy. So great!
I do wonder what Maribel was trying to accomplish. Something to watch for in the coming stories.

I felt bad for the way Heaven and Murdock met. Murdock got the short end of the stick though. He didn't do anything wrong. It was before he met his mate and if he had known Heaven was there it wouldn't have happened.
Heaven's case of bad luck continues through the book. Eventually things will become positive. He and Murdock will be busy in the future that's for sure.
I believe we Ludo is the warrior remaining from the original group left to mate. Jasper went to the Eastern pack. Then we will see what happens with Montana. Plus we met the three Santiago brothers in this book. What awaits them?

Splendidly, sappy sticky sweetness seeps from the pages of this story. There were family pains and comforts. Extreme joys and grieving sadness. Twists, turns, aching loneliness and love. I enjoyed it all, laughed, cried, guessed what was to come and was correct some of the time. If you enjoy magic and are open to LGBT positive tales I would recommend this book.
I have never read this poem in it's entirety. It was lovely. The rhythm was effortless. I fell into reading it aloud with ease and my kiddo loved it. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys classics.
