Short read. There was much more focus on the story in this book.

Poor Murphy being beat down physically and emotionally. Especially when some of the emotional pain is caused by his mate. Ludo is there for his Murphy in the end but he wasn't a very good mate to begin with.

Oliver! He has grown up since mating Micah. I love how he stands up for Murphy. So great!

I do wonder what Maribel was trying to accomplish. Something to watch for in the coming stories.
