Pretty good twist on the classic Cinderella tale. I worried that it would become angsty but the author resolved the story quite well. I look forward to reading another in the series.

Splendid. Simplicity in a most impactful way. I adore the words in this journey of the seasons. The art is so lovely that I nearly want to pull the book apart and frame the pictures. Magnificent. I will look back to this tale often. When I am feeling lost... It will help me remember to be present and perhaps help me to find myself in the moment that I touch its pages and gaze upon its paintings. Beautiful.

I enjoyed this book. The nostalgia throughout made the story all the more interesting and fun.

I had watched the movie and wondered if the book would be as good. They differ in the details but the heart of the tale remains the same in both. I enjoyed the differences from one to the other as it made reading after watching all the more intriguing.
