I listened to this book and the voices are fantastic.
The story is boy meets girl, girl spends a one night stand with boy, they meet again by chance and the speaks continue to fly. What makes this different is her job is a secret one, one that can affect his job.
We see the story develop into a it has to be you tale and the journey there is delightful.
You will like this book if you like your FMCs to be independent working women, feisty and unafraid of asking what they want from a guy.

Update to rate the audiobook version, Victoria and Greyson portray Jesse and Asher to perfection. Casting them was brilliant. It gave the emotional tone a profound voice. 5⭐

It feels to me that this is Kayla's most emotional read so far. Possibly because of her own experiences, it gave this story a rawness and feel that hits on a personal level. Kayla writes her characters with imperfections that makes them perfect. The playlist, when listened to under the story context, pulls at your heartstrings. I highly recommend this book for its body positivity and happy outlook on living one's life to its fullest.

This story is a lovely journey of rediscovering the places that brought you joy as a kid. We're taken into a story of getting the girl who got away with your brother. Throughout this book we see how two teenage crushes come back as adults into each other's lives and discover they were meant to be together after all. It also shows small community togetherness and cooperation. When the spice happens it's satisfying, but if that's not your thing, the passages are easily skippable. Just know there's a few open door scenes.
You would like this if you are into second chance romance, brother's ex-girlfriend crush, and small beach town stories.

This is a wonderful magic story but with dragons at a dragon school. They learn about teamwork, kindness, and all things little ones should learn. Hermoso libro.

This book's dedication had me giggling right off the start. The vibes it gives is a mix of Indiana Jones and The Mummy. It's got magic in an omegaverse universe. The story centers around the characters' involvement in an archeological dig. As this is an omegaverse, of course she ends up having a strong heat while isolated from the world with the MMCs, (yes, more than one). They scent matched and that makes sparks fly everywhere. There are swords crossing, plenty of spice, and witty banter.
If you have nostalgia for the adventure movies and specifically The Mummy, and love omegaverse, this is your book. If you are just getting into this genre, this is a great and lightheaded introduction to it.

A second chance at love for a single dad and his, on the spectrum little girl. Jo and Ellis have a fling, she goes to work for him as a nanny, they're in close proximity in a castle/mansion. She can soothe Zoe's insecurities and gives the girl priority. Of course he's going to fall, and fall hard for her.
I loved this book's banter and wit, the interactions between Jo and Ellis were always a fun read. Once the spice returned, there was no denying it was a strong bond.
If you like single dad, forced proximity, workplace romances, this book is for you, especially if you want healthy adult interactions with children on the spectrum. My heart was satisfied.

This book is an entertaining story of misunderstandings and second chances, meddling in-laws, and forgiveness. While the story is engaging, it gets just a bit repetitive in the middle. It could have been just a tad shorter. The main characters are described with depth and lovely prose. This book would appeal to fans of small town romances with a little bit of spice.
