This story hit me hard in the feels. It's a tale of how seemingly perfect lives are not really that. We see the story unravel via diary entries telling us how the main characters got together. I was sobbing for the last few chapters. This author has a well honed craft to bring characters to life on page. I hope it gets popular and it becomes an audiobook.
Please read the trigger warnings. It could be very triggering for some.
This book would appeal to fans of the themes like It Ends With Us. 

This book is the introduction to a series, a short novella to let us know about the characters and a little bit of world building. 

I found this story beautiful and descriptive. 

Please note, this is a prequel, thus it ends in an unresolved storyline. It has dragons!

Neurodivergent diversity represented.

Hermosa historia de una tradición. Yo colecciono piedras porqué me gustan. Nunca pensé que las piedras me hablarán. Voy a tener que ponerles cuidado. 
Las ilustraciones están divinas, con mucho colorido y simbolismo. Se complementa muy bien con la narrativa.

This book is a delight to read and is very well written. The characters' interactions where hilarious. It's only one POV, but she's very descriptive, you can almost see his point of view.  If you like steamy, descriptive scenes spice and plenty of plot, read this book.
It will appeal to fans of Abby Jimenez, Bridget Jones.

Please, do yourself a favor and look up spice level before you bash a book that contains spice, promoted as STEAMY and you just didn't know what that meant. The quality of the writing is not related to your uncomfortable position. I'm more uncomfortable with the bullying that happens in the story. 

Nice short story

This is a heartfelt enemies to reluctant allies to lovers romance. She's the woman who got injured while reading a rollercoaster, he's the guy who designed it. This is the story of what happens after the cameras leave and people are left to deal with such an ordeal. We go from heartache and resentment to love and what it means to care for someone. This author knows how to give a voice to her characters so they show us what they're feeling at any given time. If you are in the mood for a feel good, happy ending love story, this book is for you. 

The main characters' make an arrangement to have a purely smexy relationship. Too bad feelings start to get in the way. While this is not a book about race, the MFC is a black woman adopted by a rich white family. The author explores what it means to be in that relationship. This is a debut book, as such it does need polishing. However, it made for an entertaining quick read with plenty of steam and witty banter. I would read more books from this author. If you like light-hearted stories with strong MFC and second chance interracial friends to lovers stories, this book is for you.
