This is ends on a cliffhanger. A short story of domination and betrayal, with a mystery element that goes unresolved. The spice is spicing.

This Pride and Prejudice retelling is a cozy fantasy where Elizabeth is a magicless witch and Darcy is a Warlock with good intentions behind an uptight facade. I loved how the Georgiana character has a more robust role in this retelling rather than the meek girl we know. While it is truly a PP retelling, there are Sense and Sensibility glimpses from the way the story is crafted around Elspeth and Draven. The cottage where they are staying is a sentient being that satisfies their needs. Draven falls first, and falls hard. But when she does, hilarity ensues. The writing is fantastic, giving enough detail to make it different from the source.
I absolutely adored the Moonflower Witches series name. And don't get me started on the dragon, Edgar stole the show and now I want one.
If you like PP, and are into fantasy cottage lore with a bit of hot spice, this is your book. 

Lighthearted story about a single mom and the guy who loves her just as she is. It has open door spice, easily skipable if not your thing without affecting the story.

I found this story hard to follow. I loved it had the mental health representation and how the character's dealt with it. Neurospicy character. This is a good passing the time read. 

While I adored The Boss

Situation, Brody's story is a favorite. The old crush who he tried to forget, is in need of his protective instinct. One cabin later and forced proximity strips them bare to each other. Harper is distraught, she trusted who she believed to be in love. She was in danger, and Brody finally accepted that he'd do anything for her. if you are into touch her and die, forced proximity stories with well developed characters, this book is for you.

Karmen writes characters that come to life with her elegant use of descriptive scenes. While not overly spicy, there are some open door scenes that you can easily skip if that's not your thing. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were cast exactly how I would imagine Jessica and Vini to sound. If you love small town, self growth, sapphic romances, you will like this book.

Interesting read into the world of brujería Mexican style. I had no idea there were all these rules to practice it. Very well written and explained. 

This  book surprised me. As I go blind into my reads, I was not prepared for a whodonit disguised as a sports romance. The two main characters have complex personalities which some together to initially solve each other's dilemmas, but as the story progresses we understand there are more nefarious actors at play. Their relationship turns into more once the lines between them blur. This book would appeal to fans of sports romances with a bit of spice and a mystery to solve. I liked how Emily gave each of her characters, including the supporting cast, their distinct voice and personality. I would read more books by this author.

This is a story with a stalker. Please read the trigger warnings. The tale itself it is a story of a woman who finds solace from being stalked in getting stronger emotionally to not feel afraid anymore. Her found family is fantastic. I felt the cliffhanger was

too rushed, and inserted the MMC as the saviour, felt a bit patriarchal after the FMC had taken matters into her own hands.

It docked many points in my opinion. And it was going so well. 

This is a literary gem, it is not for me, but for people who like self discovery stories will enjoy it.
