This is a mafia romance with all the twists and turns one expects from this genre. There's intrigue, an element of danger and impending doom. What made it different is the enemies to reluctant allies to lovers trope, sprinkled with witty banter and a fiercely independent FMC who becomes a partner to the "never will marry" MMC.
I listened to the audiobook and Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross where the perfect voices for Renata and Ollie. They provided the perfect acting skills to portray them.
This book will definelty appeal to mafia romance readers who want a strong heroine.

He's the bad boy of hockey. She's the team's doctor and the coach's daughter. So how these two thought it was a great idea to fake date so he can teach her spicy things. Then, the lines start to blur. I loved the banter and how much he cared for her. If you love sports romances, specifically spicy hockey stories, with fake rel tionships tropes this book is for you.
The narrators were perfectly casted for the emotion and portrayal of Xavier and Sophie. This review is for the audiobook version of this book.
Duet style narration Shiloh James and Tim Paige 5⭐

Good why choose polyamory story. The interactions among the main characters is over the top hot. It's fantastic but you must read the next book in the series as this ends in a cliffhanger.
It has mental health representation and grief. Read with care.

This book is probably my favorite of the series, so far. The chemistry the two main characters have is off the charts and their spice scenes are spicing. The twist is rather interesting and touches in misogyny and controlling behavior by a partner (not the main characters). Overall, the plot kept me reading one more page until I finished it. This entire series would be fantastic as dual narration audiobooks.

This is a cute fantasy romance with intrigue and mystery sprinkled in between. It presents a social essay of class and sticking to one's kind. Luna and Vincent make for interesting characters who carry generational trauma and heavy weights on their shoulders. They embark on a quest to solve each other's problems and the fall for each other along the way. I loved how this author approached misunderstandings, identity, and secrets. There is delightful banter between the two. There is easily skippable open door spice if that is not your thing, but they add to the story to show the intimacy the two develop. The side characters turned into a found family of sorts.

This book had feels, and the character ' had flaws, and the book hurt my heart a bit just to heal it right away. This author captures perfectly what is to live with people who have OCD or ADHD. And yet, it captured the humanity of their choices. Loved it
