A brutal summary of the “situation” in Palestine over the 20 and 21 Centuries, Pappe exposes in retrospect how Israel intended to treat Palestine from the very beginning. This isn’t a strategy from 1967 or even 1948. The roots have been in place since the 1890s. This is a must read for anyone who claims to be pro- Palestine and even more imperative for those who are on the fence.

While there is something endearing about the way Montell breaks down all things “cultish,” there wasn’t anything really I didn’t already know. It was neat to hear about the origins of things like MLMs though I do think she oversimplified by describing everything cultish as a result of Protestant reforms and changes. I do recommend as an “intro” to thinking critically though.

Dex and Mosscap need each other. The result is pure fluffy, cozy bliss.
Thats it. That’s the review.

Just read it. There’s no real way to describe the bliss that is this book. Mosscap and Dex are adorable. This is absolutely cozy fantasy at its finest.
A great book with her usual amazing writing. I just couldn't get into the story personally. No notes, no complaints. It just didn't vibe with me
