There are too many POVs. I don’t like how the have the little sister poised to be trouble and how “she couldn’t have had anything bad happen” to her. I feel like if I read on, I’ll just get pissed off by how they accuse her of whatever happens.

While I appreciate the queer representation, I hated this book. I dnf'd at about half way because nothing had happened. They hadn't even gotten to the school yet!
I did not care at all about the modern girls. I only cared about Libbie and Alex. The only action we got was the scares that Audrey and Merritt had, and even that was fabricated. I hated how it started to go the way of the Blair Witch.
Just too slow with characters I couldn't care about. The premise is great but the execution is not.
