I feel like this book had a lot of potential but it just completely missed the mark for me. The characters felt flat, maybe it would have been better if I had read her other series but this series is not advertised as a continuation and it is said you don't need to have read her previous series. The plot was fine, it progressed quite fast and featured the insta love trope which I am not a fan of. The power dynamics in the first spicy scene did not feel right to me and were questionable at best. Had these things been different I think I would have enjoyed the plot at least but overall I really didn't enjoy this.

Also this really needed more editing because there were so many mistakes in my copy? The line space formating changed halfway through the book and at one point was inconsistent within a single page. There was missing punctuation and it had lots of spelling mistakes - even at one point getting the title of the book wrong?! (The phrase read the Goddess of Bone and Bone). The cover art is amazing though.

I enjoyed this, I've been meaning to read it for ages. Very slow paced but it was interesting enough to keep me invested throughout.

I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to pick up more of V.E Schwabs work. It only lost half a star as the romance felt a little lacklustre to me but otherwise a great book!

I am really enjoying this series and can't wait for the next one. I listened to this as an audiobook and did find it a bit hard to keep track of when it was the story being told and when it was the narrators talking between them. These tales are very interesting, though I liked the first a bit more which is reflected in my rating.

I found this a very interesting book to read, not an enjoyable one but I'm still glad I read it. The premise kept me interested even if it felt slow at times.

I really enjoyed this, the way the story pieces together and the world building is interesting. I ended up really feeling for Rabbit even in such a short story! A great little read and I would highly recommend it!

Is the writing good? No. Is Edward's inner monologue highly repetitive? Yes. Should this book have been at least 100 pages shorter? Probably. BUT did I enjoy reading it and did it provide the Twilight nostalgia that I was looking for? Absolutely!

This was such a cute read. I really enjoyed it all the way through, I would have liked more of a resolution at the end but otherwise I can't fault this book at all!

Really enjoyed this take on Medusa, love to see more of her than just the monster we've seen so many times. I read this in one day as it kept me hooked from start to end!

I liked the characters in this book, Sally Rooney never fails to write realistic and relatable characters. However, not a lot happens and the philosophical emails were a bit past me so I still prefer Normal People!
