Love the perspectives and that we finally got the brothers in there. I like that Iris was included because I feel like that was actually important, unlike Cameron in the last book. Not a huge fan of the ending. I feel like it left too many things unanswered

I don't particularly read historical fiction but this was recommended by a friend and I really enjoyed it even thought there were a few tropes that I hate included. The story itself was very interesting and I love the time jumps/dual perspectives

I absolutely LOVED this book and I honestly did not know what to expect. This is my first time reading anything by V.E. Schwab and I can't wait to read more of her work (I've already purchased Vengeful).
I recommend this if you like revenge plots, villains, morally grey characters, supernatural powers and/or found families. Watch my full review here

I'm a sucker for a good plot twist but damn! I didn't see any of this coming. None of it. Not a single thing. Saying this was a wild ride is an understatement. While this book was a lot to take in I'm glad I read this because this is the perfect rebound after my disappointment of Truly Devious
