I genuinely did not care about anything happening in this book

I love Aurora but don't care for Malone at all. Plus I disliked The Sea Witch so much that it kind of put me off to the series so it took me forever to get around to this one.

Not a bad book I just wasn't invested and don't care for grown adults not using their words

I did not like Keiran at first. The whole
"I'm gonna be mean to her just to get a rise out of her even though I've had a crush on her for years" thing just doesn't work for me. Especially when he made that little "joke" to a reporter thinking that it would be all good. In the end he did grow on me.

I like Cherisse a lot as a character. No complaints when it comes to her.
Hated the
third act break up especially because Keiran acknowledged multiple times that he needed to tell her the truth and still didn't. But the ending was satisfying.

The first 20% of this book had me bored out of my mind because it felt like nothing was happening. Finally they meet and honestly that didn’t start off well either but once things started to pick up I actually enjoyed it. This is my first alien romance and I will be continuing the series

I enjoyed this more than I expected to!

I really like the way that this book explored grief and I like pretty much all of the characters except the MC. I feel for
Hazel and I get why she acts the way she does but it's not an excuse to be unnecessarily mean and rude to everyone. The way she treated Lemon was ridiculous. Hazel is the only reason this wasn't a five star read

I think most people will absolutely love this one but I hate friends to lovers so that aspect of it didn't work for me.
I also was very annoyed with how each character talks about how they've always respected each other's relationships when there were multiple examples of things that people would consider quite disrespectful. I also hated the way that Navaya went out of her way to do and say the exact opposite of what she felt and it irked me.
I'm interested to read the second book though because I want to know what the heck is going on with Tasha

Love that there is a sequel!

So I didn't enjoy this one as much and I think it's partially because I truly hate
Jared. He was so unsupportive of Tomas going to Costa Rica and then acted like a bitch when he found out that they were together.

One thing that I really loved though was the open conversations about consent and kinks. I also really loved that when Darcy called Tomas out, he immediately acknowledged that he fucked up. We love a man who can admit when he's wrong and take accountability.

Considering joining the author's patreon to get the epilogue!

Tropes: age gap; older woman/younger man; best friend's mom
Content warnings: infidelity, death of a parent/spouse

This book ended my reading slump so I love that. It's sexy, it's funny, I love the romance and the chemistry between Tomas and Darcy. Highly recommend

This was interesting but just didn't hold my attention the way that I had hoped. I typically enjoy multiple povs and while I did enjoy learning how all of the characters were connected, I was bored a lot of the time. There was a good twist that I didn't predict (although in retrospect I see the foreshadowing). I will be watching the adaptation on HBO

Thank you to the publisher for an e-arc of this book!

This is my second favorite in this trilogy and while I absolutely loved London, I hated Drew for a long time. He grew on me eventually but I hated the fact that from the second he comes on page
he's being a dick to London. He was a prime example of "I'm mean to you because I like you" and I was not a fan. I would have ended up liking this more if Drew had groveled like his life depended on it because he did very little to regain London's trust and she deserved better. I didn't start to like until almost 60% of the book and if he had stopped being a dick we could have gotten there much sooner.

I liked the ending,, it felt like it came full circle to have
all of the girls with their partners. While I'm happy for Samiah and Daniel's engagement it also feels like a lot of time hasn't passed and that it's kind of soon but oh well.
