I really love the tv show but I think I should have read these sooner. The writing feels very outdated and is often boring.
THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE
It is literary fiction that has a vague romance subplot if you can even call it that. Stop referring to this as a romance when it is very clearly not.
All of that aside, I did not really like any of the characters. I admire Eva trying to be a good mom but her daughter was annoying as hell and she and Shane need to learn to communicate like the grown adults that they are.

I just don't care
Graphic: Incest
I was actually enjoying the beginning of this book but the random "joke" about the fmc being "sold into white slavery" turned me off
This is incredibly well written but it's dragging a bit for me and I kinda don't care
I didn't love Trisha Wolfe's serial killer duet but I was hoping that with this being co-written maybe I'd enjoy it more. Honestly I was bored and I don't care about the conflict between the two characters so I'm just gonna stop
I wanted to love this because I love Married at First Sight.
A lot of the writing was cringey to me and at first I thought it was just that the author captured the awkwardness of the experiment a little too well but the more I read the worse it got. Some of them were little things like the bride starting an unnecessary argument the morning after the wedding but also the weird comment that the brother in law makes about the groom's mom and then the groom talking about the mother of the bride's ass. I just couldn't continue
