pain. i am in pain. sobbing hysterically, never going to recover (until book 3, please give it to me immediately). one of the best sequels ever.

this book is poetry in every way and i beg you, even if you didn’t enjoy the first one as much, read this.

please just talk to each other

the only reason this gets 3 stars is because i was vaguely entertained :,) but i wouldn’t really recommend this one 

i don’t have a nice thing to say about this book but i’m giving it an extra star for susan and the pretty cover. 

maybe add trigger warnings in your book if you’re just gonna throw in an unexpected SA scene? and slurs? i don’t really think that’s too much to ask (yes, it’s small, yes it still matters) 

also, just overall, this books plot is boring, the characters are flat and i feel like i’ve wasted my time, really, what was the point? i’m severely disappointed unfortunately </3

easily the best book i’ve read all year- potentially the best book i’ve ever read

phenomenal in every possible way

one day i will have words to describe this beautiful book fully but it is not today! (basically: please read this immediately)

still debating between a very high 4 star and a 5! so tune in at the end of the month :,)

i adored this, it was so gloriously queer and charming and still tackled so many important topics. like redefining what queerness means in all of its simplicity and the complex relationships between romance and platonic affection.

i really really loved how messy our main character was and the cohorts of people she wa surrounded with. i loved them all so much for so many different reasons and i strongly recommend this, i think everyone will get a little something out of this :,)

only complaint! the unnecessary mention of attachment styles every other page, we get it author, you took a psychology class or you read an article that one time. but it was fun, and light and lovely <3 

well i didn’t expect to cry at the softest book of man kind but here we are :,) this book is so gentle, these characters are so warm and lovely and wow i love life and reading and any being responsible for giving the world these books <3

this book built so so much on from the first one and i adored it- despite all the pain it was responsible for :,)

there were quite a few technical factors i found it difficult to overlook though: such as the book mostly being show not tell (which is good!) but sometimes i just need to be told what’s happening. or the way so many big events are glossed over and it just focuses on the build up?

i loved it regardless i was just hoping for that little bit more from it. i will miss sona and eris and their crew more than life. this found family is a home and holds soso much comfort. i can’t wait to read these again 🫶

it was fun! but got very slow towards the end :,)
