this was easy and quick to read but because of how quick it was, it had an entirely linear plotline which is something i struggle with reading.

the book itself is decent but i can imagine it being very forgettable, and this was like many other books i’ve read before but,,,, not as good. 

idk it was okay! that’s all i can really say about it!

the autism rep was also… not great. which put me off almost immediately. 

the relationship also wasn’t very well developed and just overall, bleh. 

this was fun! the writing was beautiful and I loved the plot, atmosphere and themes. but the love interest really annoyed me and I'm not quite sure why?? sorry, jack xoxo so it's not quite the 5 star I thought it would be! but the representation was so well done :) mental health and a range of queer rep is always needed

i really really enjoyed this. there were a few pacing issues and a couple of minor problems j had with lack of story completion but the writing itself was gorgeous. the characters, the exploration of them and the overarching theme of just being true to yourself.

it was darker than i thought, the transphobia was awful and graphic so please be careful with yourselves but it was such a wonderful story.

music and belonging have always been one and the same. more space stuff next time please!!!

super sweet and fun! definitely helped get me out of a mini reading slump. 

the main struggle i had was with how linear the plot was which is definitely more on me than the book! i enjoyed my time with this book and it was very very easy to read :)

i’ll write an official review at some point but this was so sweet and lovely. such a gentle slice of life book that briefly explores gender and sexuality and all it’s complexities.

the only issues i had were on the more technical side as quite a few sentences came off a bit clunky and most scenes were very brief.

i still really enjoyed and can’t wait to see what this author does next!!!

for the sheer amount of emotions this book made me go through,,, it deserves 5 stars

i’m not sure what it was exactly about this book, whether the characters (who i loved), the reality tv aspect (which i also loved), or the dynamics and relationship as a whole but wowowow i had such a fun time

these girls deserve the world

i had a very enjoyable time overall and the world building was absolutely phenomenal. but the plot itself and conclusion were very poorly executed which sucked a lot of the enjoyment out for me! but!! i still strongly suggest picking up the book, some of the lyricism is absolutely stunning

this was so fun and sweet and warm and an absolute mess but i had such a fun time with it even if it took me quite a while to get through. be warned; it’s nothing like the first book and very dense  but in a good way!! sapphics on boats stay winning <3

i liked it just as much as the first one and cannot wait for the last book!! (i NEED the last book to be about ross and hawthorn more than i need air)

the romance in this was entirely adorable. the plot however always felt very removed from the story and i felt it honestly would’ve been better if it was just a book with no plot at all 😅 

i really really liked this regardless, just for the romance and marian hayes. the love of my life. she is a girlboss and i adore her
