A really enjoyable book. Slightly emotional in parts. Well written. Like nothing I’ve read before. Highly recommended.
This was a good read. It was a murder mystery without the fear factor. I could really appreciate that, not being a horror fan.
I also felt a bit underwhelmed by the way things wrapped up. I did enjoy the overall message & the idea of the letter at the end. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to redeem the book for me.
A feel good novel. A lovely debut from the author.
An intense, but necessary read.
I have never read a book with such an impact as this one.
As I read these words, I can’t help but imagine my own family. I cannot bear the thought & I had to read in short burst so as not to break my own heart. It felt like it would be disrespectful to give up & put this book down. We should know. We should know so we don’t let this happen again.
Everyone should read this.

Firstly, my review is based purely on my own thoughts of this novel.
I hated it. I skipped entire chunks, paragraphs, sentences... it was long winded & boring. There were moments where the story started to come together & then it kind of drifted off again...it was sooooooooooooooooo dramatic in such an unnecessary way, which is a shame, because the overall plot had substance.
I just did not enjoy this novel.

Where to start? I agree with the other reviews mostly. Not great, but not terrible. I closed it feeling like the whole thing was still very unresolved. I kind of hate books like that, where the ending feels very anticlimactic...
