I love this book soooo much. This is the kind of book I wish I had read back when I was a teen and figuring out my gender identity. Felix’s journey with his identity as well as learning to love himself in spite of everything and everyone that got in the way of his joy was inspiring and healing for little me. So happy to have this in our collection and be able to reread it as many times in the future as I can. Highly recommend to everyone regardless of how you identify. Read this for the trans rights readathon that ends March 31st which is the International Transgender Day of Visibility!

This was a ride from start to finish. It’s been a long time since I picked up a Carl Weber book and I’m glad I did. It for sure got me out of my reading slump. If you need thriller/drama that’s fast paced to get you reading again this may be the right book for you. Oh yeah side note! This book is real spicy.

I had this book on pause for a while but it turned out to be an entertaining read by the time I was finished. Not my favorite Ruth Ware book but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

A look into how domestic abuse can go undetected and how far a person is willing to go to protect the people they love. The end of this made me so emotional. Hated Jack so much! Probably the most infuriating antagonist I’ve read in a while. Check trigger warnings before reading!

Going into this read, I wasn’t expecting to love it the way that I did. It was very funny, but also reflective and emotional. It makes you think about how little time we have on this earth and what we would do if given a second chance to have conversations and experiences with loved ones past and present. It also provides insight on how to move on and forgive to let go. I really enjoyed getting to know July and Dino and although they were flawed characters, it was very sad when it came time for them to say goodbye to one another.
