This book was ok, nothing to write home about. It follows a family going on vacation to Spain. The individuals are all going through life changes and we get to see how they deal with the turmoil. Several things are left unresolved in the end but we at least know which way they are headed. The last few sentences summed up the book beautifully and made it worth it for me!

'There was nothing in life harder or more important than agreeing ever morning to stay the course, to go back to your forgotten self of so many years ago, and to make the same decision. Marriages, like ships, need steering, and steady hands at the wheel.' -- page 292

This book is unlike others by this other. It's not an easy read but it's a great read. It deals with addiction and provides that it's a disease than can affect anyone. Great look into a life that many would rather ignore.

While reading it I felt like someone ripped my heart out and stepped on it repeatedly. This is possibly my worst nightmare and will change how I look at my relationship with my daughter.

Loved this book. It's a sweet story that confirms what I believe to be true about karma.

This memoir gave me some great insight into what happens to someone with a food addiction. I feel like I understand food disorders better. I was rooting for her all through it and hoping for a happy ending.

This book was hard to read but I felt like I owed it to the girls to read it. I've had many conversations with my kids and there are more to come. They are truly an inspiration.

This was a sad book but I loved the end. It made me think about things that perhaps I'm not ready to consider. The writing was ok but the five stars go to the story.

This book portrays young love in a way that I wouldn't want my daughter to believe is acceptable. I don't like things like stealing cars and holding troopers at gun point to be glorified. However, putting that aside, it was a sweet story of what two teens do when one is terminally ill.

The main character was annoying and the plot left a lot to be desired.

Once I was a couple of chapters in I couldn't put this book down! The characters are twisted and the back and forth, similar to Gone Girl, kept me guessing. I was sad when it was over, I felt so invested by then.
