The idea behind the plot is thrilling. The execution leaves a lot to be desired.

I enjoyed the addition of courtroom drama to this medical thriller. A page-turner for sure! I enjoyed the end even though it was very predictable.

Interesting book even though though the plot twist was predictable. As a teacher I like to read books that give me a glimpse of the other side. This book definitely did that and also made me think of bullying in a completely different light.

I'm sad that it's over. That's a 5 star book, right? It was amazing. And I kept thinking about the question that was on the inside cover 'what do you do when making the person you love happy means breaking your own heart?' I still don't know the answer but I certainly loved reading how Lou went about it.

I loved the idea behind this book. I loved following Don and getting to know him. I was disappointed with the end. It felt rushed. I like endings that neatly tie everything together. Not the case.

Lovely book about a girl who struggles to define herself as is torn between her family and new career. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and learning about Chinese American families.
