This book has such a beautiful cover. It drew me in immediately. I was on the hold list for a while on Overdrive, but it finally became available to me. I read it pretty fast.
What could be better than murder, disappearances and podcasts? This is a twisted tale of a missing podcaster and her biggest fan sets out to find her.
I did enjoy a bulk of the book. There are a few slower parts, but not too many. I do recommend as a read for 2021.

Thank you to Netgalley and Minotaur books for this ebook review copy. Thus book had ben on my to-read shelf for a while. I saw the title and cover and knew I had to read it. Patiently awaiting its release. I hadn't used Netgalley in a while, but figured I'd get back into it. I'm glad I have.
This was very fast paced. As soon as I got it loaded onto my Kobo i started reading. I got halfway done in one day. (Im sure i would of got further, but did take a break). This book pulled me in from the start. Thus was very well written, and i highly recommend. A top new release of 2021. On my list.
A group visit this abandoned village for a documentary film. It gets weird quick. Ghostly visions and abandoned buildings. The book goes back and forth between the past and present day.
If you like creepy haunting stories this is the book for you. 5 Stars

A really cute helpful guide about cats. I have one cat. Yes, just one. That's all I'm allowed in my apartment. I have learned a lot from this book. The information is wonderful, and the illustrations are so cute. A book for all cat parents out there.
Another great thriller from Riley Sager. This id say is my favorite of his so far. I am excited for his new release in a few months.
Edge of my seat thriller. It always kept me guessing. I love the twists and suspense build up. Highly recommended.

I first want to thank Bookish First, and G.P Puntams Sons Penguin for a review copy, and letting me enjoy this book early.
Second, lets talk about this cover. The artwork on this book cover is amazing. Seeing the protagonist Jake surrounded by white ghostly hands. It's just so good. It all compliments each other, and has a creepy vibe to it (in a good way) the colors are smooth, and inviting. Very well done.
This is a very good YA novel about a kid (jake) he is one of the few Black kids at his school. He not only had that to struggle with, but he also sees ghosts. He begins being haunted by a troubled teen.
I think lots will enjoy this book. I myself didn't have anything in common with the main character, but still liked it. I think the author did well in including themes that don't always get a lot of attention(At least in my normal reads.) Themes that need to be talked about more. Characters of color. That are gay. School bullies. It's written well, and think it will make a great read for all.
