Very thrilling, and page turning.

I read both Christophe's and Alloma's story. I finally got to read Victoria's. Very sad what they went through. Completely heartbreaking Victoria went through so much. She overcame so much.

Really enjoyed this. Will be reading a lot more from Junji Ito very soon. (it's on the way from the library.) I can't wait.

Another great book from Cathy Glass. Her memoirs at times can be heartbreaking, but also inspiring. She is an amazing woman with a big heart. I always look forward to her books, yet i finish them so quickly. Will be looking forward to her next one which i think comes out in September.

Wicked quick read. I didnt want to put it down. I really enjoyed Minato's first book 'Confessions', this one was a wonderful read as well.

I admit I skimmed through this one, as well as two others on serial killers. I can read on serial killers, and horror, and even watch the documentaries and horror movies, but I think with the true text of what really happen theres only so much that can be taken at once. I did enjoy what I did read of this book though, it was scary and real, I think thats why I had so much trouble finishing it, because all the horror that I read about of clowns and werewolves and stuff I know is all fake.....well for the most part. I do believe there are ghosts, aliens, vampires, and other beings we don't always see but its not as real as this. I warn you if you read this it is very graphic and it is a struggle, it makes you think twice on you to trust, and yes I got all that after reading just what I did.

3 1/2 stars

this is my first book im reading by rob bell. i do agree with him a lot. i really liked all the analogies rob used. it helped me see things more. this book got me thinking at times, and i know i will be thinking for days on it. velvet elvis is a easy read that will have you reminded of what christianity is and almost like a guide to help you rethink who you are. oh and the end notes are about 10 pages long its gonna take me some time to look up the verses listed in the bible, and the books he's listed to go back, but i think it will be a good review and worth looking over.

I received this from the member giveaways program. on librarything it took me a while to read, it is a large book. at almost 400 pages at first it seemed a little overwhelming, but i made it through it. the first half of the book is what took me forever, I kept putting it down and reading something else. but I had a good chunk of the book left and the pace picked up I finished over half the book in a day. after me struggling with it for about two weeks.

This is a story about the author Jeanette Davis, her life, and families life. A story of a black woman growing up in America There's a lot that happens in this book, and though they may not all be good, good things still happened. Some parts are a little detailed so im putting as a little warning, but don't let that turn you away completely.

I thought this was a pretty good read, yes it took me a while to get through but i enjoyed it. I am a white woman, but that didn't stop me from reading this.

(read dates are approxomate i since i didn't mark it as currently reading at the time)
