Move over vampires, goblins, and lycans there's a new creature in town and it's known as the gargoyle. This book was awesome! I loved it so much I finished it in a day! It starts of at such a fast pace, and doesn't stop. I loved how every page was filled with action and adventure. You totally don't know what way to turn, or what is going to happen next. I can tell you now you will not regret reading this. From the minute you turn that last page you will be screaming for more.

It took me a while to read this book. Normally I can finish a book in a week or two. I was busier than normal the past few weeks so that put my reading off, but I also found it harder for me to hold my attention in this book. I like reading about stories of triumph and when people and children overcome all kinds of trials, but this one didn't hold me like the others do.

Was really good, can't wait to read the next book in the series. There's a twist of everything.
Even though the book is short it makes it a nice quick read that you can still enjoy.

I won this from LibraryThing's Early Reviewers. At first I thought this was going to be filled with more thank-you letters or telling me how to write a letter but that's not the case. This is not a self-help book, or a book on how to change and live your life. It tells the story of a year of John Kralik's life, and what he does to change his life for the better. Through the ups and downs of life John decides to write thank-you letters for everything, from everything to gifts to the littlest thing as someone remembering his name. This book kind of makes you rethink the word thank-you and appreciate it more, it also makes you think of the little things and yes they do matter.

All narrated by a 5 year old Jack. I found myself at times having a love/hate relationship with Jack. a good portion of the book all taking place in Room I at times was feeling a little claustrophobic, even though I read it in a day.I wanted out, and maybe more than than the characters themselves, but as the book went on I felt more content with there situation. I felt what they felt, and wanted what they wanted. I was afraid just like they were, but still kept going. Some scenes were intense and nerve-wracking the escape scene is what really got me screaming on the inside,I was afraid for Jack and Ma, and scared for Ma and hoping Old Nick wasn't going to kill her after Jack escaped from Truck.
In the end I am pretty happy with the ending, and hope Jack continues to learn and grow with Ma.

I heard about Daniel when I saw an episode of 20/20 thats how I came about to know his book, and I liked this book I gave it 4 stars I wanted to give it 3 and a half cause I was stuck between the ratings. I enjoyed reading all the accomplishments Daniel had made and will continue to make. I loved reading more on how Autistic Savants minds work, he has an amazing mind, and his book is a wonderful read.
One other thing is I do not understand math a whole lot, I struggled a lot with it in school, and still do to this day, but some of what Daniel explained I understood it, I was happy to be able to learn and comprehend something I have struggled with my entire life with just a few simple sentences from a book. If you liked the movie "Rain Man" you should enjoy this book.

I loved "Dewey: The small town library cat who touched the World"and wanted to read more of his story, thats what I thought I was getting when I first read heard about a new Dewey book, but this is totally different. What this one is, is nine stories all inspired by Dewey, what a wonderful cat. Some stories I enjoyed more than others, but each story is unique, and special. To most of us our animals are our babies, and these are stories of the cat lovers and there cats.

I read this book in a little less than 3 days. I couldn't put it down. I'm not always one for love stories but I made an exception with this one. This is the second book by Jodi Picoult I have read the other one being "My Sister's Keeper" I liked this one more, but with "My Sister's Keeper" I liked the movie more than the book except for the ending.
I fell in love with Chris and Emily's story. I kept playing scenarios in my head and tried to think what the characters where thinking. I guess would be a good way to put it oh what really happened.
This morning is when I finished it I had probably a little over 100 pages left and I sat up and finished it in about 2 hours I was glued to it,by the last page I was happy with it.

I cannot fully review this book as I have not finished it and am not sure if I will. I have heard so much about it and wanted to read it for myself but the writing style with the mixture of words. It wasn't the fact that it was disturbing or anything either, just the writing style I found very hard to follow and I just couldn't get into it. I don't know why it took me almost 100 pages to realize it, but I will not be continuing this one right now. It is a disappointment to me, I normally don't like to stop books so often I rarely do it too. So I hate to do this but I currently have to give this book 1 star. If I come back to it late I might change my mind.

I would give this one three and a half stars if I could. I didn't like this one as much at first, it took a while to grow on me. I think it was a tough read because similar stories like this had been done before, and I wasn't expecting anything new.
