This is the kind of spooky story I like for autumn. Tree people slowly replacing everyone in town is veryyy creepy. The composition and color of the art was really beautiful but I wasn't a fan of the art style itself. The cover gallery was amazing though,  I love Celia Lowenthal's art.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would, but they're still not a couple I'm really into.  Mostly this got me excited to read the other relationships being set up.

I teared up at the end tbh. I miss Gravity Falls so much and this book is a perfect reminder why. Hilarious and well written.

This was so cute, especially the last story. All of the stories in this collection but one are pre- the main series, and there's a sad Little Mermaid retelling that I loved. The last story is what I wish more of this book had been; the crew hanging out post series and how things have changed.

Thorne's story about being a middle school con artist, the little mermaid retelling and Winter's story about choosing not to use her gift are probably my favorites.

Winter and Jacin are the  OTP. So are Iko and Kinney tbh.

There were a few slow parts but overall this book was so good and made me sad many times.

Michael...Sloane.... you deserve the world.

Everyone here has trauma, even the killer. Seek therapy and maybe ya'll wouldn't have had to go through all this.

Cress, Jacin, Winter and Cinder are all amazing in this book.  Honestly I'm not that into Cress/Thorne but I like Cress' infatuation and the bit of angst towards the end of the book. I was more interested in everyone elses relationship though for this entire book.  Still 4.5 stars because even if I don't care for the relationship this was still a fun read. And I'm excited to read Winter :)
