WTF did I just read.
If you genuinely liked Twilight,  The Vampire Diaries, or Riverdale I recommend this book. Or if you ironically enjoy those things. Or if you unironically enjoy those things but it's because they're bad.

Grace wasn't that annoying as a main character, the only thing that got me was how long and how un-investigative she was about realizing there's strangeness afoot. I liked Macy and Lia a lot. Jaxon was mostly blah, and the only part of the book that really dragged for me was when they got together and I had to endure their gooey romance. The vampire biting definitely awakened something in me though. Flint annoyed me multiple times.

The ending was insane, I will be reading book 2.

I started the year with IPB and now I'm ending the year with IPB.

Lila and Rokan might be fighting for the position of favorite couple with Kira and Aeheko... I really liked Lila and her emotional journey, yadda yadda...AND the fact that she lowkey communicated with Metlaks? Queen shit.

Damn, I need more volumes ASAP. The art style is so pretty, plus the fashion and character designs...I really like the relaxed romance En and Ichi are developing. The world building is really unique and I think the author succeeded in making a vampire that could live in the modern world. My only issue is the pacing/flow of conversation was weird in a few places. A few times I thought I was missing a page.

I wasn't feeling it for the first 70ish pages, but by the end of this book I am so emotionally attached to Katsa, Po and Bitterblue. Katsa and Po have the most tender relationship ever and it's so cute especially since Katsa acts like a feral raccoon with rabies.

I really liked that this was a fantasy novel without "magic", everyones grace is an enhancement of their abilities or it's a perception/understanding of the world around them...it was cool.

I liked this more than the first volume, it was a little funnier and has relationship development. And the panel where Takane gets hauled off to jail was funny.

It's a fun read. Basically, imagine Haruhi and Tamaki if they were huge assholes to each other.

Shout out to Dr Pepperco for name dropping irl victorian lesbian writers. I'm adding those books to my TBR.

This manga is so sweet and sad at the same time, I love it. There's a short story at the end between a bookseller and a maid that's adorable too.

I love the introduction of Matoba and Natsume  realizing there's some real bastards out there. He wanted to fit in with people for so long but now he's growing attached to yokai and seeing humans aren't perfect either.

I liked that the story was a 3 parter this time. Natori is an ass as usual but at least he felt bad about it. The unrelated short story at the end was cute, I like realistic/thoughtful portrayals of students crushing on teachers instead of it just being accepted.

This was a strong start!! Tsukina is very relatable, I'm a fan of isekai comics but if I was in that position I'd use my magic to live a quiet life too. Her budding romance with the knight is super adorable too. I also really like when two people get isekai'd and one turns out to be awful. Adds some excitement.
