Winter was awful but she has you on the edge of your seat to see how she gets through all this bullshit. Finished this book practically in a day cuz it's so gripping. I like the straightforward writing style.

This was really enjoyable, I didn't know it was a prequel but had no issue understanding anything. The friendships and character motivations were compelling. It did end a little abruptly, after all those pages.
