I think the most emotional part of this book was the final part, Jindan reunited with her son but the pain and anger at watching him defend the British, love them, sneer at his own people. She fought hard her entire life and her ending is so sad, at least she had her son.

For most of this book I liked Angie and Ricky, and I liked the idea of them together. But at some point it becomes too drama filled, they didn't have a single happy moment where it was ruined by one of them starting a fight. Loved the friend group in this though! And the parents/ grandparents

This is not a book I would have picked up on my own but I was recommended it and enjoyed it. Evelyn and Cecelia both irked me at different times but it's easy to see both their views, and the relationship was beautiful. And I love old Hollywood drama even if it's fake

About what I expected, the A/B/O dynamics allow for a lot of noncon and dubcon. The second half of the book I enjoyed more because I love when the alpha type is the one chasing after an omega who hates him.
