there were a handful of poems i really liked, otherwise it was just ok! kind of a trip down memory lane for all the famous people who died while so much was going on. 

Awful, unimaginative writing. A poorly written "Naked Time" down to the part where Spock loses control of his emotion and has to be slapped back to reality by Kirk. This was only 158 pages but felt like 900.

THIS BOOK WAS INSANE. life and death drama at every turn NO TIME FOR REST. EVER.

the infamous OWO?? HOT CHOCO?? webtoon. I've actually been a fan of this artist since his BTS fanart days, and that's really the only driving motivation I've ever had to interact with Boyfriends. I like slice of life but this is a fail imo. this also suffers in my opinion from "telling and not showing" a lot. These characters have hobbies that are only off handedly mentioned and no character is ever solely focused on to develop some kind of inner/outer world,  their personalities barely corrospond to their stereotype designation (jock, nerd, prep, goth) and their interactions and reasons for romantic interest in each other are very superficial with little to no conflict. Really I just like this for the art. 

I miss having Wren's POV but Oak was amazing as well. There were a few moments I felt didn't land well which is why its not a 5 star for me, but in the end this was really fun and I loved the web of drama and misunderstandings here. 

my favorite in the series.  the ending is thought provoking

i like that when the human man had a dog head sewn onto him,  he suddenly became shorter than every other cop

not my favorite in the series, but still amazing. ends on a powerful note 

one of the best in the pocket book series honestly.  the mystery is great,  and the attention to developing both the original tos characters and new characters is done really well.  the people and events that get in their way during this mystery is truly frustrating haha... 

the only thing i thought was weird/didn't like was the talk about rehab prison planets basically being brainwashing stations to turn civilians into mindless obedient citizens. it seems like the most unFederation concept ever. And apparently, it kills Vulcans.
