I was really hoping for a fun little listen, but instead I got an annoying, unlikable main character, and a story that went no where. I felt uncomfortable with the relationship between the characters: an underage girl with an adult male? Were we supposed to be ok with it because it was two broken people being broken together? I don't know. I just never felt ok with it. Maybe if they were closer in age? Maybe if she wasn't underage? And the fact she believed so whole werewolf thing made her seem even younger too.

I do think the plot was interesting, but it could've been so much more. Maybe if she found more connections between herself and Lizzie, but instead the focus was on the weird relationship between her and an overage man. I wanted so much more from this book, and instead I just got a lot of disappointment and an annoying main character that I never felt sorry for once. Everything bad that happened to her, I was happy it did. She deserved some hard times, and she never got it, not that I thought she deserved.

But HEY! I finished it, and that is all that matters!

I went into this book wanting to love it and support the author. Instead, I found a confusing story that went no where, and two main characters that I didn't care about at all.

I spend a lot of my time listening to books. I don't listen to music while driving or working out, I put on a book and enjoy my time. I also sit and put on a book while I'm doing computer work at my job. Usually I am able to handle listening to a book and filling out a spreadsheet or sending out an email, but I was unable to do so with this book. This book was so easy to zone out of and forget all about. Maybe it was the voice actor, but it story was never enough for me.

There was just too much going on, but not enough to keep me interested. Not only that, but the fact I zoned out and was still able to get everything that was happening meant that the author spent too much time on the nothing details instead of giving us a real story to get lost in. There was too much world and not enough plot.

I didn't care about Sofi, nor did I care about her brother. Miguel was uninteresting; however, I wish that more time was spent on their relationship.

Nothing is worst that going into a book thinking you'll love it, only ending up being bored out of your mind. Such a disappointment.

This was a random book Overdrive suggested I listen to as I was waiting for some books I had on hold, and it was the best book that could've been suggested.

Going into this book, I had no idea what to expect. I honestly just wanted a book to waste time on as books I was actually interested in got off hold. BOY! It was a pleasant surprise! I found a book that has everything I love in a story. It has a beautiful and intriguing plot. It has amazing and relatable characters. And the last surprise it gave me was a beautiful love story that captured my heart.

Even though I love everything about this book, I think my favorite thing about it is the fact that the main character fails. She fails so much, but she never gives up. She keeps pushing, and I keep being impressed. I think that is why I enjoyed the book so much. When a book gives me realistic characters that are well rounded and likable, I can't help be hooked.

I cannot wait for the new book, and I cannot wait to recommend this series to more people. I am honestly so in love with it that I am struggling to find the words to describe it. It is beautifully written, and I know it will capture the hearts of many of my friends as well.

I'm not going to lie. I went into this book thinking it would be bad. Even after the first few pages, I thought it was going to be annoying. But then, I got into it and found it to be a charming story. This book has so much heart that I found myself loving it, despite myself. I found myself rooting for Holly, hoping for the best for her. I wanted her to find happiness and find how to be a good person. Even if the story is cliche, I like how it notices that and runs it with it. The book isn't pretending to be anything else. It is a fun read and something I will recommend to my friends who just need a quick and happy read.

It isn't a deep story, but that's ok. Not every book needs to have this deeper meaning. Everything is right there on the page for you. It was a wonderful distracting from my life and gave me something to look forward to while I listened to it on my drive to and from work.

I will say, my favorite part of this book was the ending. It was a welcomed surprise, and honestly? It made the book ten times better, and I was already very happy with it.

If you want an easy read that will just make you feel good about life and bring a smile to your face, this is the perfect one!

Wow. Talk about boring. A whole book about nothing, and that's what I got. Nothing. I really wanted a book about twins really working hard to find a way to rebuild their relationship, but I felt like I didn't get that at all. I thought they were going to take the tie to rediscover themselves, but I bare got that.

I feel like I read a book about a bunch of first world problems being made into mountains. I didn't care about the twins at all, and I don't understand why the cities were mentioned at all.

I really had to push myself to finish this book, and I was listening to it. Listening to it was a struggle and a chore, but I knew I had to finish. I kept hoping something exciting would happen, but nothing did. But again, it was a book about nothing, so that is what I got.

Such a bore and a disappointment. I wanted to listen to it because it was nominated on here for a book of the year in 2017. I don't even know how it got there, but it is clear on why it didn't win.

WOW! Just wow!

Another book I started listening to as I waited for my books to get off hold, and I am just so happy with it.

When I started the book, I was a little bored and confused on where this story will lead me, but I am so happy I took this journey. While I will say, I am not completely amazed with it, and I happy with it, and that is because of the ending. There are some boring parts, some parts that could've been better, but that ending made it worth it. The ending blew my mind and made me obsessed!

I feel like my least favorite part of the story is Emika and Hideo's relationship. I really don't see where it came from. I knew it was coming because it was the cliche thing to do, but I wish more was written; I wish there was more detail on where his feelings came from. Her feelings, I understood. But his? I wish I knew why he felt so strongly towards her.

However, I found myself forgiving this because I was just so blow away by the the ending. Now I have started the 2nd book and I can't read it fast enough.

I originally thought the idea of this book, a Ready Player One and Hunger Games hybrid, was, well, unoriginal. But now I'm obsessed! Clearly! I can't wait to find out more and watch the plot unravel even more!
