it was not as interesting as people hyped it up to be

it simply wasn't holding my attention long enough. i wasn't expecting a political adventure book, was hoping for more romantic adventure

realized as i was trying to read it that im simply not that interested in continuing the series. 

the cheating at the beginning and bad writing style turned me off from getting close to the reverse harem

this read like a man writing out his fantasies with a woman and truly it was poorly written too 

i really tried. but starting off the book describing the grinch in an erotic way and saying you found the grinch horny really threw me off and i had such a bias while trying to get through more of the book

taking too long to be interesting

it started very good and kept my attention but as it went on there was too much unnecessary details and could have been shortened greatly

we got dropped into a sci fi world with no explanations of any of these terms and i really tried to follow bc the premise was interesting but i was too lost to continue 

i was having a hard time being ok with kyle's behavior which like i get we're not supposed to like but i couldn't read any more of it. also the thriller plot was not introduced/engaging enough for me to continue
