Liked this more than the other two books. The last part was a bit confusing. Too many emotional entanglements. Too much confusion regarding motivations and weird creatures. I’m very tempted to keep on reading.

I’m torn about this book. I really enjoyed the plot and characters but the writing style kept throwing me off. Curious to continue but not sure if I will.

I didn’t enjoy it all that much. Rebus is pretty dull and didn’t seem like a good detective.

Just read the first novella. I’m kind of bored so I don’t want to continue for now.

Gotta say, it got entertaining by the end. But I think by then it also lost all sense of believability. That's not great. First third really read like something written to be made into a movie. The rest not so much. I don't know. My thoughts are all over the place.
EDIT: "Ryan Gosling to Star in Astronaut Movie ‘Project Hail Mary’" - lol, NO WAY! Isn't this a surprise!!!!!!!!! Mind "blown"

Not what I expected and NOT what I hoped for. Vague and confusing. It has something of Alice In Wonderland feel too it; deliberately, I think. I dislike that book intensely.
I wanted horror, not this confused weirdness.

I absolutely hated this book! Need to make a note not read any other books from this author.

more boring than I expected.
Edit: tried to watch the damn movie. it's so damn slow! I'd need to watch it on constant fast forward. gave up about a third way through.

Hated it. Hated it as much as I hated I Am Legend. It was a slow boring read. The middle part had some interesting bits though. What happened to Ginger? Did she make it to Summerland? I remember the movie with fondness and am grateful for whoever adapted this book.

So so happy to be finally done with this. Frustrating and confusing. I think a more straightforward plot-driven version of this book would’ve been more my speed. I can imagine the joy of reading this story without all the heady babble. Undecided on book 2
