Starstuff is a sapphic scifi novella about Ajita and Yallie. Though they are both assigned numbers, Ajita gives herself and Yallie human names. Ajita is a student, and in a classroom with other students is made to do the same tasks everyday. However, she remembers things about her planet from before she became a student at the school, and shows an interest in painting and stars. Yallie is a trainee, but what she's training for remains a mystery until close to the end of the novella. When she meets Ajita, she becomes curious about her interest in art and the stars. The writing is exquisite and the connection between Ajita and Yallie felt genuine. I enjoyed when they discussed what is the purpose of kissing on the mouth. This is a short and sweet sapphic novella that I will enjoy reading over and over.

This is an interesting possession horror novel. I bought it because of the cool and creepy cover. The TLC Mart is obviously a stand in for the WalMart, and having it be a place of demonic activity is a clever concept.

It took me a long time to read this because of my ADHD, which makes reading academic books a huge challenge. This is extremely important though so I'm glad I finished it. Edward W. Said does an excellent job at explaining how many countries, particularly the United States, have enabled Israelis to commit genocide against Palestinians. He also expresses sympathy towards Jews for the anti-Semitism they have faced in the past and still face now, but still condemns their genocidal actions.

Despite its short length this has a lot of interesting and important information about Palestinian food, art, family, and much more. Some of it is outdated since this was published in 2004. Copies of this book are hard to find at an affordable price, but it is still absolutely worth a read. The only reason I was able to read it is because I got to borrow it from the library.

This is such a creepy sapphic novella. It is about Bea and Evian, who are together on an island after the world ended. However, Bea starts to question if everything on the island is too good to be true. Both Bea and Evian feel like real people in the way they interact and behave with eachother. I will definitely reread this and seek out more of Cat Voleur's work.
