Not a single story in this anthology left me feeling disappointed. Some of them combine humor with horror, such as "The Letter" and "Monster Mashed." Some of my favorites are "Little Piggy" and "The Garbage People." I would definitely recommend this anthology to readers who enjoy horror.

This started out just okay, and then it got interesting when Mercy is running from some masked men. The ending was pretty satisfying in my opinion. I'll definitely seek out more of this author's stuff.

CW: animal death, domestic violence

When Rusty buys a new home from an old man named Wayne, he didn't expect to be left with the responsibility of feeding Mouth, a hole in the ground with sharp teeth. Abigail, a 19-year-old runaway who works at a pet store, becomes suspicious and curious about the number of times Rusty shows up to buy mice for his "snake" and decides to spy on Rusty to see what he's actually up to with the mice. Despite the horrific deaths in this novella, it is a pretty wholesome story of found family and embracing what makes us different. Also like many other stories, it shows that it's often humans who are more monstrous than any non-human creatures. Anyone who is a fan of movies/books like Frankenstein, The Blob, and Tremors will most likely enjoy this weird book.

Attack of the Killer Tumbleweeds is a fun horror story with characters I was rooting for in spite of their flaws. It takes place in Las Vegas, with a recently married couple, Buddy and Cindy-Lou Hitchcock who are on their honeymoon, a dancer who goes by Glitter and finally an aging actor named Dean Valentine. There's also a mobster named Jimmy who becomes more of a danger than the tumbleweeds. This novella is everything I'd expect from a campy B-horror film. :)
