This is one of the coolest books I have ever had the pleasure to read. The entire thing is written in verse and it's anti-fascist. I am excited to read more from Valkyrie Loughcrewe. :)

This book is so gross and I love it. The grotesque and horrifying images will live in my head rent-free. Judith Sonnet is great at writing filthy body horror. Anyone who is into extreme horror should definitely check this out.

Found footage horror is not something I generally seek out, and I may have decided to skip this novella if I had known it falls into that category. I'm really glad I read this though because it is so good and creepy that I devoured it in one day. It is about a writer named Thomas Livingston. He is renting a lighthouse that has a bad reputation, and he intends to stay there for three days and document his experiences. This is definitely a page-turner and I would highly recommend this to horror fans, especially if they are into found-footage and epistolary narratives.
