I loved this so much that I wish Jenny Lawson was my friend.

Not much happens in this book, but the writing was so captivating that I kept reading anyway and greatly enjoyed it.

Roxane Gay is always going to have a special place in my heart. Her writing is so honest and every sentence of hers is captivating. Every story had women struggling with certain things, such as their weight, their skin color, pregnancy, and rape. The stories are also honest about how men often entitled to a women's bodies, especially white men and their sense of entitlement to black women's bodies.
