I checked out this book multiple times from the library because I couldn’t get through it each time in the two week hold period. I started in February and only finished it now because I didn’t want to leave it dangling unfinished for the year.
After reading Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb I had high expectations for another book about therapy, but Group did not land with me in the same way and I am somewhat baffled as to how it made it to Reese’s list. I guess it’s about a woman’s journey to healing and radical honesty, but it doesn’t provide like tips and tricks for other people in classic self-help style, it’s just a general memoir of how 5 years of twice a week group therapy helped this one woman.
Overall, I’d recommend you read Maybe You Should Talk to Someone instead.

Delightful! I love everything Tessa Bailey writes, and this is no exception. Really excited for the second one to come out so I can continue living in this world.
This one took me ages to read only because my library hold expired and it was so popular it took me 8 weeks to get it back - and then I finished it that very day!

Excellent! Will definitely be buying a physical copy and rereading next year as well.
Listened to this book in one go on my hike today. Excellent. Great title, too.
I enjoy his Netflix specials and this felt like a continuation which I enjoyed but was also ultimately one long but amusing rant about how many children he has and how it’s hard to manage them all.
I love Tessa Bailey!! I think this is my favorite book of hers now, it was so hot and emotional and delightful. The first book I read in 2021 was part of this series, and now I am finished the year with it as well!
