Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World

David Epstein

DID NOT FINISH

This premise of the book was clear from the title, I did not need to read more than 1 chapter to get the point.

Love a gay romance, love a royal romance

Truly stellar, can't recommend it enough

This was good though I was offended when the author said "I haven't sunken so low as to Google "how to make friends"" which was rude as I have 100% done that multiple times.

This was good but I was unprepared for how prominent a role an abusive relationship played in the story

Another BIPOC romance focused around cooking, so heck yes I said yes to this one

80% of the plot revolves around one of the protagonist's mother's early onstage advanced dementia, which was not mentioned at ALL in the book description. It was marketed as a cute lesbian summer read, which is what I wanted, and then it turned out to be much more serious/existential. It was good, but certainly not what I was anticipating.
