DID NOT FINISH
Strong character development: No
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

Just like with all anthologies, there were some real hits and some that were alright. Most of the ok stories were bc I felt the plot was too rushed even for a short story, or an unreasonable amount of things happened and the character development/falling in love happened too quickly. As always, I loved the work of Mia Sosa, Adriana Herrera, and Alexis Daria. New to me fav: Zoey Castile. I also enjoyed that there were two throuple stories and several queer stories. Quite diverse in many ways.

informative inspiring medium-paced

This is quite informative - Judith Heumann has lead such an impressive life and been involved in so many important democratic processes for disability rights. I learned a lot!

My only note is that I agree with other reviewers who said this is less of a memoir and more of a recounting of her  work as an activist. Which is a very good recounting don’t get me wrong, and I am glad she wrote it, but slightly different than what I thought I was getting.
