You said belief was giving my heart and trusting that understanding would come later. And I realized at some point I'd already given my heart without understanding - to you, Zenny.

Well, it's official - Sierra Simone has me in a chokehold.

Out of all the books in the series thus far, Sinner is easily my favorite - this was way deeper & more poignant than I anticipated it would be going in, please check the trigger warnings & don't skip the author's note at the end. I related so much to Sean's beliefs & feelings about God & religion, the way Simone dealt with his character really had me sitting back & thinking about my own faith. & I think that's what really elevates this series as a whole for me - yes, it's steamy (Simone writes some of the best steam I've ever read, period), but her writing is truly phenomenal & she isn't afraid to challenge & discuss religion without ever being disrespectful to those who do hold strong beliefs. Sean & Zenny's journey together was beautiful, the last hour of the audiobook had me crying my eyes out & so in my feelings (shoutout to our incredible narrators - Jacob Morgan, you continue to impress me). I loved how we got to see more glimpses of Aiden &, semi-spoiler alert, got a little peek into his relationship with Elijah. & the Reverend Mother - what a gem, I adored her so much!

I'm fully invested & all in to see what else is in store for the Bell family, & I am so, so ready for Aiden & Elijah & Saint.

If you're a fan of YA mysteries & don't mind some romance with your spooky vibes, then you've got to check out Jennifer L. Armentrout's The Dead List - this was so much fun!

I know Armentrout is really popular for her From Blood & Ash series, but this was a really solid mystery/romance hybrid! I thought the writing & pacing were both great, I always love when books like this utilize flashbacks to add to the overall mystery at hand & they were perfectly placed throughout. I've been terrified of clowns for as long as I can remember, so the fact that the killer wore a clown mask here really freaked me out

Funny thing, isn't it, hindsight? It's memory, but with new understanding tacked on, so that the past means something different than it did before.

J.T. Geissinger, what a book!

I'm going to keep this very short & sweet because it's imperative - imperative! - that you go into this completely blind (of course, check triggers if you've got any). I didn't realize how much I'd been craving a book like this until after I finished it, it was moody & spooky, romantic & steamy, thrilling & heartbreaking - Geissinger had me all over the place emotionally, I'm telling ya'll this was one wild ride

I never thought I could love someone so unlike me. That being so different from someone could make me feel right at home rather than every kind of wrong. But each moment I spent with you, every time we pretended, the strangest thing happened... It became real.

Chloe Liese's Two Wrongs Make a Right was like a burst of instant joy, a beautiful, heartwarming, & swoon-worthy beginning to a new series I can't wait to continue!

Liese is so incredibly talented at crafting characters, everyone in this story was fully realized & had their own distinct personalities (I'm so excited to see who else gets books in the future

(Mini-Review) I'm going to keep this short & sweet just like the story itself. This was my first time reading Meghan Quinn's work & it was truly short story perfection! We got just the right amount of backstory, Nola & Caleb had great chemistry & banter, & it was full of Christmastime charm & coziness - & the letters! I thought the letters added a really fun layer to everything, "Resting Scrooge Face" & "Ho Ho No!" never failed to make me chuckle. As with most books these days, I listened to the audio & both narrators, Carly Robins & Aaron Shedlock, did an amazing job! All in all, this was all kinds of adorable & the perfect story to get you in the Christmas spirit, highly recommend checking it out!

Okay ya'll, the hype is absolutely real with this one!

This was my first time reading a "reverse" grumpy x sunshine & I absolutely loved it, Anastasia had me constantly cracking up - yes, she was a grump at times, but I really understood where she was coming from. I admired her commitment to her therapy sessions, they were some of my favorite parts of the story - the focus on taking care of your mental health & being able to effectively communicate was just outstanding! Nate was truly the love interest of my dreams, a golden retriever 6'4 hockey player with a heart of gold who's fiercely protective of the people he loves, I would lay it all on the line for this man
