Audiobook perfection! Not as good as the first book, but still an exciting listen.  I'm a bit apprehensive for where the third book is going. This sweet good girl is growing up fast and experiencing a lot of trauma, but I think she's going to be so fierce and badass in college and beyond.

Per usual, the british easter eggs make me happy.

I’m so into these audiobooks I’m going out of order based on what’s available from the library. This one is v different from the others since he’s not in the tribe and we see them learn/teach a language and jump a year and pregnancy and yada yada

Last thing I expected from the ice planet barbarian series was Deaf rep and ASL appreciation, but here we are! I was nervous to start this one when I saw it was longer than the others but it never dragged and I finished in less than a day so 💁🏼‍♀️
